Governance and Responsible Ownership

BlueNord’s sustainability governance reflects its role as a non-operating partner in the DUC.

BlueNord does not manage day-to-day operations; its role is focused on oversight, constructive engagement and risk management through established joint venture governance processes. The Board oversees the Company’s risk framework, including climate-related risks and internal controls, with the Audit Committee supporting this oversight through its monitoring of risk management, internal control and reporting processes.

BlueNord engages with the Operator through joint venture forums, technical assurance activities and relevant committees to review operational performance, emissions, environmental matters, safety, regulatory compliance and long-term asset management. Sustainability information is reported on an equity-share basis, reflecting BlueNord’s non-operated working interest in the DUC. Environmental and sustainability data is primarily sourced from the Operator and supported, where relevant, by third-party information, established joint venture reporting systems and standard emission factors where primary data is not available. Climate-related and other sustainability risks are reviewed through BlueNord’s enterprise risk management framework and corporate risk register, with identified risks monitored by management, risk owners, the Audit Committee and the Board.
