People, Safety and Ethics
BlueNord’s social approach is focused on its people, safety culture, ethical conduct and relevant stakeholder responsibilities.

As a non-operating partner in the DUC, BlueNord does not manage day-to-day operations, but engages with the Operator on HSE matters through established joint venture and partner processes. Its HSE approach is centred on safe and efficient operations, regulatory compliance and continuous improvement, with a HSE vision of zero accidents, zero incidents and zero impact on the environment and communities in which it operates.
BlueNord’s workforce is small, specialist and international. The Company aims to maintain an inclusive, engaged and capable workforce, supported by employee engagement and working environment surveys, hybrid working, learning and development, and diversity and inclusion processes. Ethical conduct is supported by BlueNord’s Code of Conduct, mandatory onboarding, insider information training, cyber security training, whistleblowing procedures and channels for raising concerns relating to harassment, discrimination or grievances. BlueNord also sets expectations for relevant suppliers, contractors and business partners to respect human rights, sound working conditions and responsible business conduct, including through relevant tendering, contracting and due diligence processes.
