DUC

BlueNord is a strategic European energy partner in the Danish Underground Consortium (DUC), producing oil and gas from a portfolio of fields in the Danish part of the North Sea

BlueNord holds a 36.8 percent non-operated working interest in the DUC. The DUC comprises fifteen fields supported significant infrastructure and three export pipelines. These assets combine resilient base production with attractive growth potential, creating a strong foundation for sustainable cash flow generation and long-term value creation.

We actively engage with the operator to improve performance, optimise reservoirs, and drive safe, efficient and reliable production. This hands-on approach underpins stable base production and enables continuous performance improvement and asset life extension.

The DUC combines resilient base assets with attractive growth potential. Stable production is delivered from the Dan, Halfdan and Gorm hubs, while Tyra is the main source of future growth.

The asset accounts for approximately 85 percent of Denmark’s oil and gas production, with infrastructure and pipeline capacity securing reliable exports to the Danish mainland and international markets.

Our focus remains on maximising value from these existing assets, while selectively investing where it strengthens long-term cash flow and shareholder returns.
